- Single CD purchases are shipped free (domestic only). A small additional charge is added to multiple CD orders, not exceeding $5.00
- Overseas shipping ranges from $5.50-20.00

- For normal shipping within the U.S., please allow up to 3-7 business days for shipping, depending on your location. (Orders are shipped from Connecticut).
- If you require express shipping (domestic only), please select the appropriate option when checking out. For large orders, please contact Dialect Support prior to placing an order. Additional fees will apply.
- All downloadable material will be sent within minutes of your purchase. An email will be sent to you with instructions to download. Files will include the relevant MP3 audio files as well as a PDF booklet containing the dialect instructions.

Q: Do you use IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) as part of your instruction?
A: Yes. Each collection comes with a detailed instructional booklet that provides the relevant IPA substitutions for each dialect. While knowledge of IPA will certainly aid you in your dialect work, it is not a prerequisite for using Gillian Lane-Plescia's dialect materials. The accompanying booklet provides an explanation of the necessary vowel and consonant substitutions that can be easily understood without knowledge of IPA.
Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?
A: Orders typically take 3-7 business days to arrive. Overseas orders are less predictable, but typically arrive within two weeks. Refer to the Shipping Policy for more details.
Q: Do you accept other forms of payment besides PayPal?
A: While PayPal is the preferred method of payment, the Dialect Resource will accept personal checks sent via US mail. However, such an arrangement must be agreed upon in advance. To request payment by check, use the CONTACT FORM below to contact Gillian for more information. Please note that, in such instances, your order will not be mailed until payment has been received.
Q: I just ordered a digital download. Where is it?
A: Shortly after completing your purchase, you will receive an emailed invoice. The secure link for your digital download is contained in your invoice (toward the bottom of the invoice). Please note that you can only download from this link 3 times, after which it will expire. If you encounter issues with your download, please use the CONTACT FORM to contact Gillian.
Return Policy
- The Dialect Resource is unable to accept any returns or exchanges on Dialect CDs or Tapes purchased through this website.
- All sales should be considered final.
- Although extremely rare, damage to CDs may sometimes occur during shipment. In such cases, direct exchange of the same title only will be allowed provided that such damage is reported via email with 2 business days of receiving the product. Please use the contact form below to get in touch with Gillian if such an occasion arises.
- Any items purchases through a retail store are subject to the return and exchange conditions set forth by that retailer. The Dialect Resource cannot accept any requests for returns or exchanges for product purchased outside of DialectResource.com.
